2025 Mount Allison Students’ Union (MASU) Excellence in Teaching Award
Many thanks to my students for recognizing my efforts with this award. It is presented annually to a faculty member who exhibits exceptional qualities, has a keen interest in their students, and who has a passion for furthering the student experience at Mount Allison through their teaching activities.
2024 Ability New Brunswick
Volunteer Award of Excellence
Award is presented annually to an individual or group who demonstrates outstanding initiative and leadership in their volunteer work with Ability NB.
Ability NB is a provincial community-based non-profit organization whose mission is to empower the independence and full community participation of persons throughout New Brunswick with a mobility disability.
Presenting me the award is Board of Directors Member Matt Steen.
2023 Experiential Learning Recognition
Students from my experiential learning course on the Marshall Decisions 25th anniversary surprised me with a framed copy of the article Hope Edmond (pictured) wrote on the topic for Mount Allison's student newspaper, The Argosy. Link to Article

2017 Last Lecture
Each year students submit nominations for which professor they believe has had the greatest impact on their graduating class throughout the years and who they would love to hear speak one more time at a ceremonial last university lecture. I had the privilege of being selected to deliver the Last Lecture in 2017 entitled "Life Happens".
